Why fly when you can instead take control of the wheel and explore the world at your own pace? A road trip is that perfect opportunity to forget all your worries and make memories along the way. They are more fun when you travel with friends or family.

Mum woke me up at 8 am .we had a breakfast, rented our car from Cantt and left for Islamabad. I was really really happy that I would be able to meet Atta(my Fiancé) after 6 long months and at the same time sad too because I am going to miss sister :(

We crossed the Baloit Shareef from where my Grandfather belongs to and I went there for the first time when I was 17. Bilot is a popular tourist destination of a pre-Islamic era, about 55 km from the Dera Ismail Khan city on Chashma road. The ruins are situated on a hill and are easily viewable from main road. Bilot is also famous for a Sufi shrine, which is why it is called "Bilot Sharif".

Then we crossed the Chashma and stayed there for 10 mins and in those 10 minutes I captured some pictures.

The distance from D.I.KHAN to Islamabad is around 5 to 6 hours but what happened with us that we got stucked in a very bad traffic at Musa khel. Moosa Khel has the lowest literacy rate in Pakistan—10.37%—and is also a sub-tribe to Babozai ,which is part of the major Pashtun tribe. We stuck there around 2 hours, man the weather was too hot and the worst part was there were no shop only aik kulfi wala tha :D...People in cars, vans even the truck drivers started buying Kulfi(ice-cream) and were enjoying .

After reaching Islamabad we relaxed and chilled but we still have to travel 2 hours more to reach at Haripur and around a 15 min drive there is a village named Mankara and I was eager to meet my cousins. We stayed four days at my phopho’s place relaxed and had fun with kids.

we left Haripur for Islamabad and I was so sad that our road trip had come to an end but the best part was that Atta came airport with us and I can’t forget that 2 hour drive with him.
